Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Canadian Health Records Technician Certificate
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Work Setting: Health care institution or clinic
Typing (Words Per Minute): 0 - 40 wpm
Security and Safety: Criminal record check
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Attention to detail
Other Information:-Graduate of an accredited Health Record Tech/Health Information Services Program -Current registration with CHIMA
