Commercial Manager (Power Distribution) required for an established Power Distribution Contracting Company in UAE. Applicants expected to have an engineering background with 8-10 years experience in the construction industry and preferably a Quantity Surveying background with the following knowledge, experience & skills: Sound Commercial Knowledge of the market, client business & applications. Relevant experience of Contract Law & Terms & Conditions to identify and mitigate company risk. Relevant and up-to-date knowledge of all matters relating to the job purpose. Strong Relationship building and communication skills. Man management of the current tendering & contracts Team, deploying company policy to manage performance and support the team members in their activities. Interface with Contracts Director, Project Managers to provide Commercial input to both strategy and daily activity. Work with contracts managers and to manage and forecast contracts performance for revenues including gross margins. Responsible for project finance management, bidding negotiation and agreeing contracts & sub-contracts. Analysis and feedback from commercial perspective on improvement opportunities throughout the entire project life circle. Ensuring that all stakeholders, such as administration, operations and finance understand and adhere to contractual obligations; reflecting them accurately. Pursue new business opportunities.
