A fantastic job opportunity will be available from the 09 April at Sugar Bay Holiday Resort. We are looking for a videographer/photographer to assist our permanent videographer/photographer during our April holiday camps.

Our office is a summer camp situated in Zinkwazi Beach (a lovely beach village an hour north of Durban). If you want to live at the beach, have a passion for children, and do not expect a Johannesburg salary then this may be a suitable job for you. Fully furnished accommodation is available. Not a huge salary, but a fabulous lifestyle.

Responsibilities include: Creating Weekly DVD's Filming weekly highlights and editing & burning DVD's for the campers to take home as a memento. Taking and posting photos onto our Facebook page, printed and social media as.

Pre-requisites: You need to own your own good quality camera and lenses– for still and video. A trained and experienced eye and ability to get the best out of your subjects. Willingness to relocate to Zinkwazi for the duration of the job. Experience in editing and producing videos, with sample videos to show will be a bonus. Knowledge of editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro/ Final Cut and Photoshop CS6. Passion for the Summer Camping industry. Willingness to do admin work and film editing at a desk (do not expect to be on the beach all day!). You will need to be a sociable person. Accommodation is shared, in dorm style cabins, with other managers who work at the resort. Willing to come for an unpaid trial week before you start the job. This is like a week long interview in which you show us that you can do the job.
