Role Summary: Expect to utilise your expert skills in Google Agonalytics and Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) to drive User Experience, Conversion Rates and Optimisation for a major online travel brand. Effectively and efficiently assist the Head of Marketing in the key tasks of optimising on-site content for maximum visibility and ranking in the major search, monitoring and reporting on performance and performing on-site maintenance. Support colleagues and improve marketing performance through web analytics and conversion rate optimisation practices. Whether you are defining and optimising user journeys; inspiring and motivating marketing team; driving continual improvement; increasing conversion rates; or creating data strategies, you will play a vital role understanding analytical business, identifying the correct tools and implementing solutions.

Organisational Chart - Reporting Structure: Highest reporting level, Head of Marketing, First level of reporting , None, Reporting to this position, None (potentially a jnr level marketing team member)

Requirements: Experience  Web analytics, Writing for the web (Meta data, page titles, etc.), Experience planning, configuring and running conversion rate optimisation projects. Proven ability to synthesise conversion funnel analytics, testing (such as A/B and multivariate), and customer insights into business results. A high degree of numeracy with strong Excel and data analysis skills;

 Knowledge of popular keyword tools: Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS. Travel/eCommerce/online conversion driven business experience. Google Analytics Individual Qualification certification. Google AdWords Certification – either fundamentals or advanced. A Digital Marketing certification. Google Tag Manager or similar tag management platform. Experience with online advertising platforms (AdWords, Facebook, AdRoll) .Minimum Qualification required . Matric. Relevant tertiary degree. Interpersonal / Behavioral competencies. Functional Responsibilities: The following role responsibilities will be monitored as Key Performance Areas; Core Responsibilities

Conversion Rate Optimisation to drive User Experience, Conversion Rates and Optimisation. Optimise on-site content for maximum visibility and ranking in the major search engines (including technical SEO, site architecture, page layout and navigation considerations): Analytics configuration, reporting and interpretation. Help define an optimisation strategy based on data and business requirements. Work with marketing team to design, build and QA experiments. Help manage the projects and ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables

 Daily health checks: all websites Submitting new pages to be indexed by Google and monitoring traffic and user engagement on these pages. Monitoring product video performance. Contribute to weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting. Compile project reports for ad hoc campaigns. General PPC campaign co-management . SEO research for content development. Page performance reports and ranking checks using Moz Analytics. Liaising with web development team on website changes, bugs and improvements.
