Data Analyst - Financial Sector

Our client, one of the worlds leading insurance brokers are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to strengthen their Dublin based team.

This role involves understanding business requirements and translating them into reference data requirements as well as implementing a processes to gather and maintain required data while measuring and controlling its quality.

The successful candidate will be expected to have excellent business acumen and good stakeholder management as well as a high level of technical skills and experience in data analysis.

Experience:

    * Ability to work with relational and non-relational databases.
    * Experience with data and systems integration is a plus
    * Insurance industry knowledge is a definite advantage

Technical Skills:

    * Strong knowledge SQL with Oracle and/or SQL Server databases
    * Experience with database (PL/SQL or T-SQL) as well as scripting languages
    * Experienced user of MS Excel
    * Experience with Tableau or other data visualization and reporting tools is advantageous
