Job description
Newsclip Media Monitoring is seeking a dynamic and vibrant individual to join their sales team.
Responsibilities will include:
Client liaison
Understand client profiles;
Actively search for new leads;
Based on the client profile, up sell to the client;
Service an existing portfolio of clients by proactively following up on clients by making regular contact with them during the call cycle;
Visit clients when necessary;
Deal with requests, queries and problems effectively and efficiently;
Accurately prepare and send out quotations and contracts;
Following up on outstanding contracts;
Timeously hand over leads to the relevant person for follow-up;
Take orders from clients with regards to Broadcast information and forward it onto the sales secretaries;
Assist with Off\'s-Follow up on services reaching the end of their contract dates in order to provide an uninterrupted service;
Act as a copy taster filtering news through to clients quickly.
Sales coordination
Capturing new and amended contract details on the Brief System;
Write client brief information in conjunction with the Client Brief Administrator;
Assist with the monitoring of client presentations by ensuring that accurate information is included
Internal liaison
Ensure effective inter-departmental and regional communication take place;
Follow up on queries via Accounts Department
Administration
Implement and maintain a good administrative system;
Assist with the timeous and accurate checking of final presentation letters received from Production;
Typing of all correspondence;
Ensuring that sales reports are completed timeously, on a weekly basis.

Requirements
Matric
Diploma /Degree in Marketing, Corporate Communications and Public Relations
Knowledge of the Media Industry
Min two years customer services experience
Computer Literacy: Microsoft Office;
Typing speed 45 wpm;
Excellent communication Skills
Ability to present at Boardroom level and communicate effectively on a professional level
