THE OPPORTUNITY:

Digital Commerce is a specialized group within Metroland that grow wholly owned digital startups including WagJag.com (a Canadian leader in daily deals), Save.ca (a Canadian leader in digital flyers and coupons), and TravelAlerts.ca (a growing Canadian leader in travel deals).
We are looking for an experienced consumer packaged goods sales leader to lead our CPG sales team at Save.ca. You will be responsible for growing the Save.ca consumer packaged goods client base by managing/growing a team of National Account Executives, as well as sourcing and building strong, long-term relationships with key accounts. We currently work with leading CPG companies such as Unilever, SC Johnson, Kraft, General Mills, etc. This position is located in our Toronto office with some on-site client meetings in Mississauga and Markham.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
    Deliver against aggressive personal and team revenue targets by providing insight on all aspects of online sales
    Mentor, manage, and grow the CPG sales team
    Develop and build strong relationships internally and with large CPG partners
    Stay current and remain knowledgeable about web analytics, industry trends, online advertising trends and Internet best practices
    As part of this role, you will be required to handle credit card information. Metroland Media is a PCI compliant company and requires people in this role to take PCI training to handle cards in a safe and compliant manner
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
    Alignment with our team’s core values of Determination, Achievement, Teamwork, and Integrity
    3-5 years of experience in selling digital advertising services (preferably in a management or leadership capacity)
    You currently have strong CPG agency and client direct relationships
    Results oriented, an individual that consistently exceeds targets and corporate objectives
    Self-starter and can adapt quickly to changing environments and market trends.
    Recognized as a relationship builder, presenter and communicator at the CXO level down
    Experience in the CPG industry or familiarity with CPG companies
    Bilingual in French & English an asset
    A University or College graduate (Business or Communications preferred)
