Description: The candidate will be responsible for print and web design needs of the company such as creating industry-leading landing pages, websites, promotional materials, and marketing collateral for the company.
Responsibilities: Creating layout mockups, graphics, content images, and illustrations for various print and web based projects, and liaising with web developers, internal staff, and management to execute on a variety of projects. The candidate will be encouraged to experiment, think big and push the boundaries on cutting edge solutions for mobile, web and print. From business development to website maintenance, the candidate will work with a supportive team to accomplish new and interesting projects.
Desired Skills and Experience
3 - 5 years of graphic and website design experience
Ability to design full web pages and web sites / design templates / print designs
Basic knowledge of Wordpress, HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, and Javascript
Strong knowledge in Photoshop (Flash Photoshop) and Dreamweaver
Understanding of mobile (responsive) application development frameworks and technology
Knowledge and application of W3C web standards
Understanding of best practice website UX and design principles
Understanding of browser compatibility issues
Basic understanding of SEO
Dynamic and positive attitude
Passionate about web design and supporting tools
Strong project management and communication skills
Balance multiple projects simultaneously and work to tight deadline dates
Team player mentality; ready to collaborate with the crew (developers, copywriters, staff) on a daily basis.
