Do you enjoy working outside in the clear mountain air as well as front desk & customer service work? If so, come to work and play in the spectacular Rocky Mountains of Kananaskis Country with Sundance Lodges - a "comfortable camping" property that has been offering tipis, trappers tents and campsites about an hour from Calgary or Banff for over 20 years. Were a small family business looking for mature high energy people who prefer a small staff environment of about 9.
Most positions start during the first 2 weeks of May, one about May 26 and one mid June.
All positions last through Labour Day; several continue until mid October.

Sundance Lodges offers our guests unique, family camping experiences in tipis, trappers tents & campsites, a gift shop, basic groceries & snack food, sports equipment and camping supply rentals. Staff Requirements:
You are able to multi-task & willing to work outside the boundaries of the job description if needed; you enjoy the change of duties on various shifts, from reservations and store duties to physical work in the great outdoors in any type of weather. Quick to learn, you take direction well, are well-groomed and have excellent customer service skills when dealing with people in person or on the phone. High energy, an eye for detail and an ability to work quickly but thoroughly enable you to finish tasks both inside and out to high standards. You are a team player able to work efficiently with a minimum of supervision; you are physically fit and able to perform all duties. Living simply in the mountains, away from the city, is a challenge you are ready to meet and enjoy.
Job Classification: you will not be sitting behind a desk every day; the variety of tasks you will be trained to perform includes Reservations & Housekeeping & Customer Service & Campground Attendant:
a) Inside work - reservations & front desk duties; cashiering; stocking shelves; customer service; janitorial; accurate record-keeping & inventory; laundry; handling rental supplies, etc..
b) Outside work - cleaning sites; janitorial; yard work; moving firewood; raking gravel; painting; litter control; interacting with customers; etc. Whatever needs doing to be ready for guests.
Accommodation: in a holiday trailer shared with no more than 1 other person of the same sex.
You are camping & cooking for yourself for the summer!
Cost of $80.00 per month for accomm. deducted from paycheck
Work Schedule: averages 5 ½ days per week
Time Off: Weekends are always busy - time off is during the week.
Shifts: average 8 hours/day; includes day shifts & split shifts
Wages: $2200/4 weeks ($12.50/hr) including a bonus of $300/mo. paid upon completion of contract with satisfactory performance. Also 25% store discount + laundry discount.
