Main Purpose of the Job: To design, develop, implement and maintain the client’s SharePoint environment and associated technologies/applications, ensuring optimum efficiency and high availability to the client. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Main Responsibilities / Tasks: To support the business requirements for the provision of SharePoint services. To liaise with IT infrastructure services, in support of applications maintenance and development activities. To co-ordinate and assist each line of business with opportunities for shared applications and common business efficiencies. To define, plan and manage releases of application updates. To support improvement initiatives involving SharePoint. To support the strategy for strategic, tactical and maintenance activities. To take responsibility for: time management; reporting and monitoring; risk management; issue management; quality assurance and change management. To act as technical expert for SharePoint in the environment, and share knowledge as appropriate. Be confident to facilitate Joint application design (JAD) sessions. To support other application team members as appropriate to the implementation of application related activities. To carry out other tasks as agreed with the Applications Manager. Maintain and Develop SharePoint Performance point for Dashboards

Development and maintenance of web applications and Web Parts Maintain, Customize and Administer SharePoint Farms User Training post projects rollouts. Formal Qualifications Required Essential / Desirable. Grade 12 Essential. Microsoft Developer with MCSE- Desirable. ITIL- Desirable
