Senior Financial Accountant: Corporate Farming, Location, Bellville, Northern Suburbs, Advertised By Private, Job Type Full-Time

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following: Year - end Finalisation and the compilation of Annual Financial statements. Maintain the ledger and relevant modules. Prepare monthly management reports for farming entities. Submission of monthly and annual statutory returns. Implement financial processes, procedures and internal controls. Support the daily treasury function. Review general ledgers of farming entities for accuracy. Maintain relationships with Farmers/Business Managers.

Preferred qualification, knowledge & experience: SAIPA with completed articles or CIMA in progress. Less than 7 years working experience. Experience in the Agricultural/Fruit sector will be an advantage. Knowledge of relevant Tax Laws, Companies Act and IFRS. Proficiency in MS Office applications and Pastel.

Key competencies required: Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information. Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning financial information.
