Financial Accountant: Kakamas, Location, Upington, Northern Cape, Advertised By Private, Job Type Full-Time. Financial Manager/Financial Accountant based in Kakamas

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following: Monitor key financial ratios, interpret, report and where applicable, drive actions to improve these ratios. Manage the year-end audit and reporting, half-year reporting, monthly reporting and annual budget process within group guidelines. Coordinate the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analyses and information reports. Drive cost-saving initiatives, efficiencies and process improvements. Ensure full compliance with exchange control laws, tax laws and other relevant laws. Ensure that a system of records is kept in accordance with the Companies Act and SARS requirements. Provide management with advice on the financial implications of business activities. Monthly management accounts in accordance with IFRS. Daily, weekly and monthly cash flow management. Monthly forecasting and annual budgeting process. Year- end audits as well as Annual Financial Statement and statutory requirements.

Capital expenditure/Projects/Replants and New Developments. Responsible for sound internal controls over all financial functions. Ad hoc administrative requirements and shareholder reporting. Lead and manage employees within the Finance Department of this portfolio

Education And Experience Required: B Com Honours Accounting with articles or CA (SA). Fruit farming experience will be highly regarded. Sound knowledge of relevant tax laws, the Companies Act, IFRS and Company secretarial legislation. Excel/Advanced Excel. Pastel Partner. Fruit farming export system knowledge will be valuable
