My client is looking for the perfect business analyst who is able to identify, investigate, validate and implement new opportunities through events, promotional visits and collating data. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Main Market and be responsible to better internal business process, design and execute game changing campaigns and promotions.

The successful candidate must have the following experience / skills / qualifications: Tertiary qualification Degree in BSc Bus Sci, BSc Comp Sci, Bsc Eng, BSc Stats. At least 1 year of formal corporate experience. Basic Analytical systems knowledge, i.e.. Polymath, mathematical. Excel skills- lookups, macro’s. Financial skills and business acumen, Analyse and generate meaningful insights from numbers & data as well as market/qualitative info. Decision making and project management skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in cross functional groups within the business unit. Management of shopper research projects and methodology. Results and goal orientated, always able to meet deadlines

Attention to detail: Willingness to learn and make a difference. Must be able to travel locally

Key Performance Areas: Merge brand objectives with trade/business objectives and execute large scale programs/campaigns via the sales force. Manage Budgets. Process Campaigns in SAP. Improve and optimise internal business processes. Liaise with Consumer Marketing Channel and Key Accounts Managers on promotional themes. Collate all internal information i.e. Nielson and sales out data to provide actionable insights. Design reports Co-ordinate creative elements to themes. Develop the creative Point of Sale brief for suppliers. Management of promotional grids as per allocated channels. Setting up account specific POS innovation through the business. Evaluate shopper promotions and communicate results back to the business. Salary: Rmarket related
