Location, Other Eastern Cape, Eastern Cape, Advertised By Agency, Job Type Full-Time. Freight Clerk. My client is seeking a Freight Clerk to join their team based in Eastern Cape Region, just outside Port Elizabeth

Minimum Requirements: Matric/Grade 12/Equivalent qualification (NQF3). Computer Literacy (working knowledge of Ms Excel, Word and Outlook). Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.  Strong office administration experience. Reliable transport. Computer literacy (MS Word and Excel training). Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Export Freight forwarding environment. QX / Shipshape experience will be an advantage.

Responsibility Main areas of responsibility will include: Passing Customs Entries and Cargo Dues with SARS and the National Ports Authority. Collating of export documentation for submission to various legal authorizing parties and batching / couriering the final document packs to various clients.

Key performance areas: Passing Bill of Enties and Cargo dues. Time management. Communication & reports. Record keeping. Salary: RMarket Related
