Systems Administrator

Our client, a leading Insurance software development company is actively recruiting for an experienced Systems Administrator to join their Infrastructure Support team.

The successful candidate will responsible for maintaining and supporting all IT Infrastructure as the company headquarters located in Dublin west.

Systems Administrator responsibilities will include:

    * Troubleshoot/ Analysis issues
    * Provide PC/ Server hardware and software support
    * Administration and maintenance of VMware products
    * Microsoft Exchange 2003/2010 administration and support
    * Maintain documentation polices and procedures
    * Shell/ VB Scripting

Candidate requirements:

    * Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
    * 3-4 years commercial Systems Administration experience working in a large Infrastructure environments
    * Strong understanding of Windows 2003/2008/XP/7 and Linux
    * Proven abilities in communicating and engaging with other teams and departments
    * Strong focus on providing a quality service in a timely manner
    * Excellent knowledge of IT security principals
    * Previous experience in investigating and problem solving
    * Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    * Any experience of the Financial Services industry is desirable
    * Fluent English communicator ( verbal & written )
    * Professional Certification in any of the following is highly desirable: MS Exchange, MS Office, Windows 2000/2003 Server
