Type of Applicant: We are looking for a team player with a passion for and experience in installing high-end audio visual, automation and networking solutions. Salary Range: Dependent on qualifications and experience.

Requirements Qualifications & Registrations: Matric, DStv accredited installer, Relevant electrical qualification.

Experience: 5 years or more in all of the below areas. Background in audio-visual installations. Installation of DStv over fibre including XtraView (3-way). Knowledge of both HD and RF distribution systems. Installation and mounting of TVs. Surround sound and multi-room audio systems. Installation of networking equipment (routers and access points). Paradox alarm systems. Excellent knowledge and experience working with various types of low voltage and data cables as well as high voltage and electrical cables. Ability to read construction plans. Knowledge and understanding of Occupational Health and Safety Act. Valid RSA Driver’s license essential. Own transport beneficial.

Systems: Control4, Lutron, Paradox.

Main Duties & Responsibilities: Effective execution of onsite installations and activities. Effective execution and resolution of ad-hoc client callout requirements. Daily reporting on project and callout work and the execution thereof. Ability to effectively lead a team of technicians where required. Ensure that all company installation related processes and procedures are adhered to. Ensure that all work performed onsite and installed is signed off and meets the company’s high standards. Maintain open communication between yourself and the various company departments. Maintain record of all project activities and communicate any issues through internal channels.

Personal Characteristics: Clear criminal record. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience in customer service and expectation management. Customer focused, work well under pressure.

 Attention to detail: Willing and able to work overtime, at weekends, etc. as required. High in energy and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
