Location, Stellenbosch, Cape Winelands, Advertised By Private, Job Type Full-Time. Optical assistant/frontliner vacancy in Stellenbosch in a pleasant working environment. Busy optometric practice. Assist the project manager in all her tasks. One to two years’ experience needed (minimum) in personal assistant/shop assistant duties. Mon - Fr: 8:30 to 5pm. Every second or third Saturday: 9 - 12pm.

Please do not apply if you don't have experience in an Optometrist/Optometric practice and don't have experience in Optimax/Healthbridge/Eminance, etc programs! We need a new staff member asap to take over from another staff member and to catch up on training. Assistant to the optometrist as well as the project manager. Are you highly organised and can you operate without supervision?

Answer phones; Schedule appointments in diary for optometrists; Prepare quotations/invoices; Stock management: put stock on, stock take, etc; Help out around the practice where needed; Excel, Word, Outlook – essential to have experience.
