Our client within a large retail store (hardware and building environment) is currently looking for a Sales Manager for the George branch The Sales Manager needs to manage the sales budget of the branch as well as be responsible for the promotion, organisation and distribution of the company's hardware product range. They will also be accountable for developing and executing all key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans required achieving set financial targets. Achieve growth and sales targets by successfully managing the sales team. Coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives. Develop short, medium and long terms business plans as well as strategies to establish efficient and effective practices in alignment with the organisational aims and goals. Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives. Ensure new product listings in the branch and to ensure that the products are marketed. Must maintain consistent communication between management and the sales teams. Coordinate regular sales meetings and ascertain that the sales representatives are continually up to date with the relevant product knowledge (Hardware)

Must have grade 12 or an equivalent. Must have 3- 5 years relevant industry experience. Proven sales experience, consistently meeting or exceeding targets. Must have experience working in technical / retail / hardware environment.
