DESCRIPTION OF JOB:
The individual will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting, budget, payroll and reporting functions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
    Proof of graduation from an appropriate post-secondary program or degree program is required.
    Advanced knowledge of accounting, budget, and related financial procedures or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
    Three to five years progressive accounting experience working preferably in the public sector.
    Supervisory experience considered an asset.
    Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
    Good knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Powerpoint.
    Knowledge of Crystal Reports or SQL Reporting Services considered an asset.
    Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains considered an asset. 
    Demonstrated knowledge of general accounting principles.
    Good knowledge and understanding of statutes, regulations, by-laws and collective agreements.
    Knowledge and understanding of payroll, including the Employment Standards Act.
    Good communication skills in both  official languages are considered an asset.
    Must possess a valid driver\'s license and the use of an automobile.
