Job description This individual will be responsible for: Managing a Workshop with 3 employees. Liasing with other departments regarding project build requirements. Costing, Facilitating and/or building various project related props, furniture and décor elements. Stock Maintenance. Tool Maintenance, Purchasing and Stock Control. Sourcing and Ordering Supplies. Onsite Installations, event set ups and strikes. Liaising with colleagues in other divisions. Managing Fleet Vehicle Maintenance and Repairs. Building Maintenance Personal skills/attributes. Strong work ethic. Willing to work outside of standard working hours, including weekends and public holidays. Good time management and project management skills. Managerial and leadership skills. 'Can do' attitude. Strategic thinking. Ability to work well under pressure. Attention to detail. Great organizational skills. Good communication skills, written and verbal. Creativity, Carpentry Skills, Valid code eight driver’s license, Matric or postmatric qualification, Computer literate, particularly in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word etc. Advantageous, Tertiary education, Metal Work Skills, Hospitality experience, Furniture Upholstery Skills
