Business-minded individual required to help General Manager Location Century City, Cape Town Advertised By Private Job Type Contract A business-oriented individual is required to assist with a growing Fashion Business, based in Cape Town. The General Manager and Company Director are primarily based in Durban and travel to Cape Town often, which requires the incumbent to have exceptional self-management capabilities, and extraordinary discipline. Duties & Responsibilities:1. Sales Administration (Support the General Manager by facilitating client meetings, completion and temporary filing of paperwork)2. Key Accounts Management (Regularly communicate with clients, under the guidance of the General Manager)3. Supply Chain Communications (Facilitate site visits to event venues in the CBD, liaise with service providers to arrange transport, logistics and catering)4. Ambassadorship (Attend events and chaperone clients when requested, on behalf of the company)5. Event Management (Assist with production and on-site proceedings as part of the event execution team)

Qualifications: We hire based on your potential, and are not strict about your qualifications. A bonus will be a Diploma or higher in Communication, Business Management and/or Organisational Psychology.

Personal qualities: Discipline is non-negotiable (the incumbent must adhere to a daily task list with utmost focus and drive, and aim to take ownership of the role). Maturity (the incumbent is expected to represent a growing professional brand and must maintain a strong professional image at all times). Accountability (every effort is made to provide resources and an ideal working environment but the incumbent must be able to take accountability for his/her role and contributions or lack thereof). Initiative (this is a doorway to a long term career within the company and the incumbent must display initiative to learn, grow and own the role as time passes; situational messaging and initiative is required to succeed). Integrity (this goes hand-in-hand with discipline - non-negotiable). Strategic thinking ability (we need someone who is capable of seeing a glass half full and being able to capitalise on the vision of whatever the reality of the glass is)

Other terms: Own laptop/tablet, Internet connection and transport required (allowance provided for usage). We do have a virtual office, however the incumbent may work from home unless requested to attend meetings and/or events. Daily, weekly and monthly reporting must be adhered to. Working hours are initially 9am to 12midday, and may increase for the purposes of events and/or meetings

Remuneration: We are looking to independently contract someone at a trial rate of R30 per hour for 3 months, which is likely to increase and convert into a 6 month contract thereafter, to allow for semi-annual salary reviews.

Benefits: As we are not employing, but rather contracting, there is no pension or medical aid benefit. We would look at on-boarding the incumbent as a full-time employee if all requirements of the contract and task lists are satisfied in build-up to such time that the company can feasibly provide this.
