Sorbet Gardens Nails needs a Beauty Therapist & Nail Tech Location, Gardens, Cape Town, Job Type Full-Time. Sorbet Gardens Nails is looking for a passionate and talented HYBRID beauty therapist with lash experience as well as a talented nail technician for full time positions, starting ASAP. Living in, or close to, the city bowl and Gardens Centre is a must!

The successful candidate must have good relevant experience, be immaculately groomed, professional in manner, highly detail-orientated, customer centric, hygiene-obsessed and be able to confidently retail Dermalogica and Environ products. A strong work ethic and proactive approach to solving problems is essential.

Key skills needed:

Must be able to: Accurately analyse guests needs and carry out all relevant treatments to the highest possible quality level. Maintain a hygienic working environment. Advise guests on the appropriate treatment according to their needs. Advise guests on the appropriate retail products for home care, up-selling and cross-selling when relevant. Maintain and care for equipment and work tools entrusted to them. Regularly attend and participate in required training modules. Always maintain a positive, friendly and empathetic relationship with all guests and colleagues.

Work as a proactive, team-player and cope well under pressure within the confines of a compact and very busy store. Work well with franchisee and manager to achieve sales, service and business objectives. Assist from time to time in additional general operational work, as required. Be flexible with shift times to accommodate meetings and training needs from time to time.

To qualify, you must have: Minimum of 2 years working experience. Accredited Degree or Diploma qualification. A passion for great service. South African ID or valid work permit. Strong sales record. Previous experience in Dermalogica, Sorbet and Environ prefereable.
