Finance Officer, Location, ACT, Salary, $65,059 to $72,700 plus super and potential bonus, Work Type, Full Time, Classification, Administration & Office Support Other. Defence housing australia (DHA) Provides housing and related services for Defence members and their families As a member of the Finance team, you will provide support for the day to day activities within the team, with a focus on DHA’s financial accounting and revenue management activities.

You will be required to generate and analyse financial information, ensuring accurate financial transactions are displayed correctly. You be required to assist with month end processing and general ledger reconciliations. You will also be required to process a range of transactions in Technology One, including invoices and receipts. You will need to demonstrate ability to interrogate transactions within Technology One and identify corrections to ensure the accuracy of data and assist with producing a range of financial related reports. You will have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in your work, and are expected to be proactive, professional and supportive. You will have a desire to contribute to a high tempo and dynamic team environment, with a commitment to the delivery of high quality customer services to a wide range of stakeholders.

Eligibility: The remuneration package is negotiable and includes a base salary, potential performance bonus and Commonwealth funded superannuation. Employment with DHA is conditional on successful applicants demonstrating that they are an Australian citizen, meeting the required medical standards, achieving a satisfactory character clearance and obtaining and maintaining a security clearance at the required level.
