CDP Position Available at High End Restaurant in CBD, Location, City Centre, Cape Town, Job Type Full-Time. We are looking for a Chef de Partie to join our team at a new, upmarket, fine dining restaurant in Cape Town CBD You work closely with the Senior Chefs to oversee staff, implement recipes, control quality and maintain the strict standards of food and hygiene.

The ideal applicant will have the following skills and qualifications: Previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a fine dining kitchen. Extensive food knowledge. Technique. Passion, drive, energy. Attention to detail. High standards. Ability to work under pressure. Problem solving skills. Strong verbal & written communication skills. Self motivated. Health & safety knowledge.

Bonus for (but not compulsory): A backround in classic French cookery. Culinary certification And the most obvious; You Must Be Able To Cook. Note: This is not an easy job to take on.
