Red Baron ALSE has a new position opening at Fyshwick ACT to support ongoing projects.

We are looking for the right candidate to fill the following position: Helmet Production Technician. Job tasks and responsibilities. Undertake the maintenance of flight helmets, communication components and associated equipment. Perform repairs, modifications and inspection of helmets. Inspect/test all cable/switches associated with helmets/headsets and repair or replace. Assist clients in the concept and fitment of helmets. Communicate with customers and suppliers

Computer based maintenance management systems. Operate hand tools and test equipment. Recording and processing of stores and requisitions. Receipt and despatch of goods and processing of orders. Ensure production schedule is on track and all KPI's are met.

Skills and experience: To be considered for this position, you must be able to demonstrate the following: Possess basic trade qualification preferably in Electronics or ability to acquire Willingness to undertake on the job training. Electronic repair experience highly regarded. Be an Australian citizen and have the ability to hold an Australian Defence Security clearance. Possess the ability to work in a fast paced team environment.
