Administrative/Office Assistant, Brisbane, Northern Suburbs. We are seeking the skills of an experienced Junior Administrative/Office Assistant to join our dynamic team. Ideally, you possess effective communication skills including telephone manner along with a flexible "can do" attitude and second to none customer service skills. You will be reporting directly to the Administration Manager.
Key Responsibilities: First point of contact for all visitors and contractors in the office area. Answering of phone lines & distribution of calls between departments. Attend to deliveries received and notify relevant staff of delivery arrival. Collection & Reconciliation of incoming and outgoing mail daily. Providing Secretarial support/General administration duties including office filing. Assisting with Accounts receivable and payable including data entry. Entry of job numbers into our in-house system for the service/projects departments. You will be trained weekly as a backup for our Service/Projects Coordinators to cover holidays/days off. Management of purchasing for service technicians & stock ordering as required. Assist others in the team under the direction of the Administration Manager.
This is a full time position Monday to Friday based in a modern open plan office environment on the Northside of Brisbane. You will need to be a competent user of computers with a functional understanding of MS Office & strong keyboard skills. Training will be provided for in-house computer programs.
