Theatre scrub- Registered Nurse, Location, Other, Johannesburg, Job Type Full-Time. Our client is seeking a Theatre Trained or Experienced Scrub Registered Nurse to join their team at a private hospital group in Johannesburg and Pretoria.  The nurse will be expected to render and promote cost effective, safe quality patient care in accordance with hospital standards and policies.

To be considered for this position you will need to meet the following requirements: Registered Nurse, registered with the South African Nursing Council. A Qualification in Operating Theatre Nursing Science will be an advantage. Previous experience in a Private Hospital Environment. 1-3 years theatre scrub experience. Experience in Scrubbing for Gynaecological cases, Orthopaedics (including spinal work), General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Urology. Willingness to work shifts in accordance with the requirements of the unit. Management of surgical equipment and instruments. Competent in the demonstration and assessment of all clinical procedures and management of risks. Basic knowledge of stock control principles.
