Warehouse Team Leader AFT Shift, Warehouse Team Leader - Afternoon Shift, Perth, Fremantle & Southern Suburbs, Permanent position, Multinational company, National internal opportunities.

The Warehouse Team Leader is responsible for maintaining an efficient and productive warehouse team which ensures that contracted outcomes are achieved in the most timely and cost-effective manner to both the company and their customers.

Responsibilities will include: Rostering warehouse resources. Supervising and assisting in stock counts, stock reports and audit procedures. Supporting the Supervisor with the performance management of all shift employees. Ensuring a safe working environment and ensuring housekeeping procedures are implemented and maintained. Establishing relationships with all operators based on mutual respect and values. Maintaining transparent records of financial activities outwards. Reporting to management on daily KPI and weekly warehouse KPI activity.

Assisting with the day-to-day running of the warehouse operations with specific focus on receipts, put-away, picking and the timely despatching of transport operators.

Essential are the following: Experience in the warehouse operations within the transport industry. Infrastructure and/or equipment management experience. Direct staff supervision experience. Knowledge of warehouse systems and computer skills. Good understanding of legislation applicable to the workplace. Reach and forklift experience.
