Android Developer, Location, Stellenbosch, Cape Winelands, Job Type Full-Time. We are looking for a developer with experience in Android app development. The candidate should have 4 years or more experience. The candidate will develop apps from back to front and be responsible for the deployment and maintenance of their apps going forward.

Contract Type. Performance Based with the option to apply for 6 month placement in Ireland  Detailed experience required 4 years minimum. Strong Object-Oriented programming skills. Strong knowledge of the Android SDK and its supporting systems - Java/Kotlin (Android Studio). Working exposure and experience on background services, async, thread classes, managing app memory, persistence (SQLite), fragments/dynamic screen support. Strong knowledge and understanding of different Android platforms. Experience with consuming REST Web services. Strong understanding of MVVM/MVC design patterns. 7. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as SVN and Git. Published applications to the Google Play app store.

Note: this package has been compiled for candidates with 4 years + experience but candidates with 2-4 years experience can also apply. Advantages: Experience with Apple iOS mobile development advantage
