Part time Receptionist - Night shift, Night Doctor, Perth, Fremantle & Southern Suburbs. Night Doctor is an After-Hours Home Visit Doctor Service started by two local Doctors with a focus on providing unparalleled customer service. Our service area covers most of the Perth Metropolitan Area. We're committed to providing exceptional care for our patients and making our service the gold standard in after-hours care. Our team is energetic, innovative and looking to expand. We are looking for two Receptionists to start on the Night shift ASAP. The night shift involves answering the phones and taking bookings from patients. Much of the time you will be working alone and will be checking, restocking and cleaning the vehicles and the office. There is a lot to do and you will be quite busy. You will occasionally be required to act as the Doctor's assistant which involves driving the doctor to patient's homes and joining them on the visit. You must be prepared to perform all of the above roles to be considered. The role is part time with 2 night shifts a week. Each shift is 8 hours long and starts at midnight and continues until 8am. We will be employing 2 staff members for 2 shifts each. Each will be working one weeknight (thursday or friday) and one weekend night (Saturday and Sunday). You will be required to cover each others leave.
The 4 available shifts are: Thursday - 0000-0800 (note: Shift starts at midnight on Wednesday and finishes 8am Thursday). Friday - 0000-0800 (note: Shift starts at midnight on Thursday and finishes 8am Friday). Saturday - 0000-0800 (note: Shift starts at midnight on Friday and finishes 8am Saturday). Sunday - 0000-0800 (note: Shift starts at midnight on Saturday and finishes 8am Sunday).
There are no daytime or evening shifts available. DO NOT apply for this role if you are not willing to work night shifts exclusively. Receptionist Role: You will work out of our office in Fremantle. You need to be enthusiastic, reliable and personable with excellent communication skills. You require: Ability to work independently. Excellent computer skills. Excellent phone manner. Valid National Police Clearance and Working with Children's Check prior to commencement. Doctor Assistant Role: (You will occasionally be required to perform this role). You will be based out of our office in Fremantle and drive doctors to patients' houses. You will provide clerical and clinical support during the doctor consultation. You need to be enthusiastic, reliable and personable with excellent communication skills.
You require: Current Full Driver's Licence with no more than 3 Demerit points lost. Current First Aid Certificate. Valid National Police Clearance and Working with Children's Check prior to commencement. The ability to work well under pressure and multitask as the shifts can be very busy. High degree of competence with technology (tablets, smartphones etc).
The rate is based on the Health and Support Services Award as a Part time Level 3 support worker with penalties for shift work. The rate is $25.05 p/h. As a shift worker you are entitled to 5 weeks leave a year rather than the usual 4 (pro rata). Successful applicants will be required to work Public Holidays if they fall on their regular working days. Should your application be shortlisted, you must be available for video interview.
