Warehouse Assistant and Delivery Driver, The Beverage Food Group. About the company: The Beverage Food Group provides management, engineering, administrative & logistics services to the food & beverage sectors across a wide range of industries.  We have a highly experienced team & head office infrastructure based in Melbourne, with our clients spanning Australia, New Zealand and Asia Pacific region. The industries span equipment and consumables in food and beverages.

About the Role Responsibilities will include: Picking and Packing of orders with completed dispatch documentation; To load and unload containers, van and transport vehicles; Deliveries to customers as required using the Company delivery vehicle; Receive in goods; To carry out quality control checks and to count and record stock figures; To be responsible for completion and prompt submission of all related paperwork and the provision of other information as requested.

To develop productive working relationships with colleagues; To communicate effectively with colleagues, managers, other staff; To be able to deal effectively and efficiently with queries and correspondence; To be aware of and to follow all safety guidelines; To ensure accuracy in all paperwork and delivery quantities; To pack down products into smaller quantities and branded packaging as required; Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; To assist in other duties as reasonably requested by the Warehouse Manager.

Essential: Minimum 3 years proven experience in a similar capacity. Familiar with Sales and Order intake processes. Customer orientated - both internal and external. Effective interpersonal & communication skills. Adherence to internal processes and procedures. Able to work autonomously and set priorities Able to work under pressure. Physically fit - comfortable doing a 25kg single lift. Fork Lift Truck License Valid driver's licence.
