Process Attendant, Private Advertiser. Sugar Australia is the leading refiner and marketer of sugar in Australia. We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Process Attendant to join the team at our Racecourse Refinery on a 12 month Full Time Fixed Term contract. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining factory cleanliness while ensuring all customers requirements and OH&S objectives are met.

Responsibilities of this role include: Operating equipment as a member of the shift production team as required. Clean and maintain housekeeping of all stations and equipment. Unload and store products such as carbon and chemicals. Re-melting sugar & Specialty Products syrup loading. Operation of forklift. Operation of pod washing facility. Liaise with maintenance personnel, production teams and Production Manager on product quality and machine performance issues, or as required. The person we seek will have experience in a similar role, preferably in the sugar industry, a good knowledge of machinery and computer systems. You will have strong inter-personal skills; a passion for OH&S and a demonstrated ability make effective decisions. For the right applicant a progression to 12 hour continuous shift operations may be offered in the future.
