Location, Other, Northern Suburbs, Job Type Full-Time. R9,000 – R15,000 per month based on experience and qualifications plus provident fund after 6 months. My client, a well-established Company specializing in the manufacturing and supply of top quality board products, hardware and building materials is looking for an experienced Production Supervisor, ideally with a wood work / carpentry / shop fitting background to join their vibrant, dynamic team to: Oversee and be responsible for the Company’s overall production processes to exceed Management and Customer expectations. Maintain Occupational Health and Safety measures at all times. Manage Production staff members to achieve agreed upon production targets.

You may be the successful candidate to join the team if you: Have a proven track record (at least 3 years) as a successful Production Manager or Supervisor in a manufacturing environment (ideally wood work, carpentry and/or shop fitting), managing a team of production staff members. Have Grade 12 with, ideally, a relevant Tertiary Qualification. Ideally have working experience in Engineering, print, packaging, plastics, wood working, shop fitting or the signage industry. Can demonstrate technical ability/understanding. Have OHS experience. Ideally have a Forklift License. Are Computer literate (MS Word and Excel). Have the personality attributes and technical and supervisory skills typically associated with successful Production Supervisors. Have good English & Afrikaans communication skills (verbal & written). Are willing to work Monday to Friday 8 – 5 and Saturdays 8 – 1. Salary: R9,000 - R15,000 pm
