Reporting to the Managing Partner responsible for Sales and Marketing, the Sales Executive represents the business in the market place and is the principle liaison and point of contact between the Hotel Operations and the 3rd Party Distributors (OTA’s, STO’s, Wholesalers, PCO’s, Travel Agents).

The Sales Executive takes responsibility for positioning the business and its services and offerings in the marketplace with the intention of maximising occupancy at the highest possible rate.

This role works closely with the relevant Hotel Teams to create a coordinated effort between Sales, Reservations and the Operations and to ensure that interested parties are conducted on comprehensive site surveys in the organisation’s properties.

The role also ensures that 3rd Party Distributors, Consortia, OTA’s and PCA’s receive timely deliveries of up-to-date Service, Rate and Promotional/Campaign information for inclusion in their on-line and print marketing materials.

Only candidates with strong experience in the Hotel industry will be considered for this expanding role. While the role can be based in Cape Town or Johannesburg, some national travel will be required.

A salary of between R 25 000 and R 30 000 with normal company benefits, and an incentive package based on the achievement of agreed performance metrics is on offer. Start Date 1 January or as soon thereafter as possible.
