We are looking for an experienced South Indian cook and Indian cook(COMMI I,Commi II) , who has a healthy respect for food and tastes to join the our restaurant.

Experience preferred in south Indian cooking. Must have worked for min. 3 years in the food industry. Should have regional cooking knowledge. Knowledge of cooking Dosa, Uttappa, Idli, Medu wada and poha and other south Indian items. Observe and test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently, using methods such as tasting, smelling, or piercing them with utensils. Portion, arrange, and garnish food, and serve food. Substitute for or assist other cooks during emergencies or rush periods.

He should have knowledge of and will operate the equipment in the kitchens. To maintain hygiene standards of self and the kitchen. Estimate expected food consumption; then requisition or purchase supplies, or procure food from storage. Accommodation and food provided.
