Location, Muizenberg, Southern Peninsula, Advertised By Private, Job Type Part-Time. We're looking for a junior front-end developer to work learn from our developers and work on our client website projects. Your job would consist of building websites using content management systems (CMSs), theming them, testing them, setting up the hosting environments, and related activities.

This is a part time position - 4 hours per day for the first 6 months. After 6 months, your hours are completely negotiable. 2 weeks of training may be provided before employment begins. This will be offered for free, and with no remuneration, and will give you and us an opportunity to assess if this position is right for you. This will be discussed and negotiated according to your skills. We're looking for someone who is a fast learner. You will need to be able to travel to our office in Capricorn Park (near Muizenberg) daily.

Requirements: Strong aptitude with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Enthusiasm for building excellent websites. Enthusiasm for constant learning and improving your skills. Valuable. People skills to be able to attend meetings with clients. Aptitude with other CMSs such as Drupal, WordPress, or Joomla. Aptitude with frameworks such as Angular or React. Aptitude with coding languages such as JavaScript, PHP, Ruby. Work experience is helpful, but not needed. Your salary is expected to start at around R60k/year, and increase to around R120k/year after 1 year. This will be increased further depending on your passion and skill.
