We have 3 positions available at the exhibition. We're looking to hire front of house information officers who have experience with interior design, architecture, building or renovating. Advance your knowledge working for us. We are a permanent exhibition located in Cape Town, showcasing products and materials for home building renovating projects. The Building Centre exhibition is the largest of its kind in South Africa, hosting over 200 exhibits, and serves to inform interior designers, architects, building professionals and homeowners who are looking to gather ideas for their projects.

This job opportunity is available to anyone with experience in the building industry – and is ideal for students that have recently finished studying interior design, architecture or construction – who are looking to work while learning more about the building industry. The Position As an information officer, you will be responsible for welcoming visitors to the exhibition and assisting them with their enquiries about building and renovating products. The position involves ongoing training and the opportunity to learn more about the building industry – all within an inspiring environment – and alongside some of the most recognised brands in the industry.

Requirements: Must have experience with interior design, architecture, building or renovating. Candidates that have studied interior design, architecture or construction will have an advantage. Positive energy and enthusiastic attitude towards work. Computer skills are essential. Well presented with good communication skills. Able to work as a team. Other information: Full-time position. Starting date: January 2019. Starting salary is R8000 per month basic + plus monthly commissions and training bonuses.
