St Ursula’s College is a Catholic Systemic girls' school of over 1,100 students. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and professional administrative assistant who is committed to working as part of a team to support the teaching and learning objectives of the College. Beginning in 2019, this is a level 4 permanent full-time position, 8am to 4pm (averaged - do not work school holidays).

As the first point of contact for student enquiries, you are responsible for providing excellent client service to the College's employees, parents and students, and ensuring the service is perceived as friendly and welcoming.

This is a diverse and challenging role which requires someone who enjoys meeting people and who is able to quickly connect with others. Your flexibility and time management skills will be crucial to your success of this role.

Core duties include but are not limited to: Assisting with the efficient and effective running of school operations. Creating a welcoming and high service environment for the College. Managing student attendance records including absentee, late arrival and early departure. Overseeing and managing student Sick Bay. Managing student transport passes and Lost and Confiscated Property.

Managing student information, communication and support. Ensuring all student records are accurate and up-to-date. Acting as First Aid Officer. Assisting with other admin matters as required.

Professional communication and interpersonal skills with an excellent customer service ethic. High attention to detail and accuracy. Self-directed and self-motivated with a capacity to be solutions focused. Genuinely interested in continuing their own professional and personal development. Flexible and adaptable attitude to work and the ability to work flexible hours when required. A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Highly competent in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word. Must have a current Working with Children’s Check
