Employment Opportunity Chief Administrative Officer (CAO)/Clerk Nestled in the heart of Ottawa Valley, the Township of Lanark Highlands is seeking a qualified and experienced leader to fill the position of Chief Administrative Officer/Clerk.

Reporting to Council, the CAO/Clerk will be responsible for providing effective advice and support to Council on corporate activities and the business affairs of the Township, in compliance with by-laws, policies and statutory requirements. The position of CAO/Clerk will build strong working relationships with community stakeholders, provide leadership and mentorship to staff and act a Council’s chief policy advisor.

The successful candidate will have preferred qualifications; post-secondary education in Public Administration or in a related field with a minimum of 10 years of experience in municipal government.
