The main duty of the Reservation Consultant is to assist clients with planning and booking reservations across all properties within the Zambezi Queen Collection portfolio with a focus on maximising revenue flow. The position will be based in our Tokai office (Cape Town, Southern Suburbs)

Duties and responsibilities Reservations: Manage daily reservations in the form of email/phone enquiries. Track enquiries, including daily follow-ups with the goal to improve conversion ratio. Maintain and promote professional client relations through fast turn-around times ensuring urgent workload is dealt with timeously. Communicate information regarding availability and promotions to clients. Facilitate the smooth running of reservations including processing of payments and sending confirmation details to clients. Follow up with clients on completion of their trip for feedback on their experience.

Assist with reporting when necessary. Perform after-hours support when necessary. Be a team player and assist with work cover when necessary.

Core Competencies: Excellent sales skills with the ability to identify opportunities to cross and upsell properties. MS Office proficiency as well as working knowledge of travel software essential. Meticulous with exceptional attention to detail.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Good geographical knowledge of Southern Africa
