Technical Sales Consultant, Location: City Centre, Cape Town, Job Type: Full-Time. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Sales Consultant who will be providing procurement services to our clients. You will also have the opportunity to facilitate us to expand/grow the sales department an our product offering to the market.

Leftclick provides ICT solutions, services and support to clients in the SME sector and by default we also provide these clients with procurement services for hardware and software. You will be dealing with all inbound sales queries(telephonic and email) while liaising with suppliers to negotiate the best deal and the best solution based on the request.

The ideal candidate will be able to understand the technical requirements of infrastructure solutions for Desktop systems, Servers, Networking devices and Microsoft licensing and products. You will be working very close to our solution architects and you must be very comfortable with the “IT language”.

We are looking for someone that is well spoken, well presented and have a passion for IT to ensure that you stay on the cutting edge of technology. You will need to build good relationships with both our clients as well as our suppliers to ensure we keep both happy while meeting tight deadlines.

Job Requirements & Specification: Ideally you will have a BCOM degree or relevant industry certifications. You need to be very comfortable working with Quickbooks or Pastel. A solid IT background to understand the “IT language”. A friendly and positive approach is key. Good understanding of all Microsoft products and licensing. A Good understanding of Email solutions such as MS Exchange, Office 365 and Mimecast services. Dell/HP certificates and product knowledge for desktops and servers are critical. A Solid understanding of networking devices - switches, WiFi, firewalls, Telephony. Adobe product knowledge essential. Apple MAC product knowledge essential. Advanced Excel knowledge required for building sales reports. Ability to maintain accounts for clients. Coordinate installation scheduled with our Helpdesk and Technical Leads. Identify up-selling opportunity

Assist with marketing strategy from a sales perspective. Attend courses to improve product knowledge and sales. Provide sales reports for directors. Report to accounts and directors on daily task.
