Information System Auditor, City: Dubai, Industry: IT/Computers – Software, Career: Mid Career, Job Type: Full Time, Gender: Any, Information System Auditor, Our client one of the companies which is into services industry requires an IT Support Executive / IT Audit Assistant. The candidate will be responsible for planning and performing IT audits and application process, IT processes and data integrity. The candidate will document all reviews and findings, perform follow up on audit issues as requested.

Job Description: Participate in the planning of audits to include identification and evaluation of objectives, inherent risks and controls. Plans and executes IT audit projects to provide assessment of internal control processes and operational performance, in accordance with department and professional standards. Identify risks associated with IT infrastructure, operations and applications including pre/post implementation. Provide best practices on how to efficiently and effectively audit the access controls and configuration management controls.

Researching and assessing how well risk management processes are working. Execute internal audit procedures and develop audit work papers and internal audit reports reflecting the results of work performed. Ensure that audit work conforms to Audit policies and procedures moreover perform special reviews as and when advised by the IT Manager. Report audit findings and make recommendations for correcting unsatisfactory conditions, improving operations and reducing costs.

Provide ad hoc advice and guidance to staff at all levels, moreover by delivering courses and training sessions. Follows up on audit findings to ensure that client/ management has taken corrective action.

Skills Required For the Job: Minimum of 1 – 2 years operational IT Audit experience or IT Support. Basic understanding of Industry controls and frameworks for audit, risk, compliance, security, governance and/or enterprise. Basic Knowledge of computer systems design, data structures and data security Ability to work independently. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills.
