We are a fast growing, Hout Bay based Software Company specialising in system integrations. We are looking for e-commerce integration & Software support consultants to join our team on a permanent basis. The role relates to providing telephonic support to our clients in the setup and maintenance of our software. The role requires a good understanding of data and spreadsheets.

Requirements: Computer literate and confident. Understanding of the supply chain. Good understanding of eCommerce. Customer service orientated with a good telephone manner. Attention to detail. A good communicator (verbal and written). A team player with strong organisational skills. Good working knowledge of data and spreadsheet. Technical reporting (bug / incident reports). Time management and time tracking imperative.

Communication: Software Support Consultants must be able to communicate technical issues to colleagues and customers with a variety of backgrounds, which means they need to be able to explain the issues and fixes in a way that is equally understood by the tech guru and the tech-challenged user. They also need to be good listeners, carefully listening to the user’s concern, and solving his or her problem.

Flexibility: Able to work independently, Manage time efficiently, Prioritization, Quickly learn new technologies, Team player, Virtual working capabilities, Willingness to explore new technologies.

Patience: Attention to detail, High level of concentration and commitment, Interact with a wide range of customers and technical issues, Listening, Maintain customer relationships, Outstanding customer service.

Problem-Solving: Problem-solving is what a good Software Support Consultant excels in. He or she has to carefully listen to the user’s concerns, figure out exactly what the problem is, and come up with a plan for resolving the issue. This often involves creative problem-solving strategies.

Bonus: Administrative background in the supply chain would be a real win! Basic knowledge of accounting principles an added bonus. Experience in using a ticketing system for support.
