Job Description: Public Utilities Maintenance, Inc., specializes in the preparation and painting of energized high voltage electrical transmission towers. We are based in the United States of America and provide service to our customers globally.

Job Duties: Painting of energized / live high voltage electrical transmission towers
    Applying paint with the use of mitts, brushes and/or rollers
    Wearing and using your PPE (personal protective equipment)
    Climbing & Painting using 100% tie off fall protection
    Following company corporate health & safety rules and procedures
    Be a team player, hard worker, self-motivated, and punctual
    Attention to detail and ability to provide a good quality job
    Comfortable working on heights
    Working outdoors
    Traveling
Skill Requirement / Qualifications - Must have:
    A minimum of 2000 hours of painting experience working directly in the energized zone of steel lattice electrical towers.
    The knowledge, experience, proper training and ability required to safely paint high voltage electrical transmission towers with the lines energized / live.
Climbing / Rescue training certificate
High Voltage Electrical Safety training certificate
First Aid / CPR training certificate
Job Location: Working in various locations throughout British Columbia.
Example of areas in BC include: Lillooet, Lytton, Frasier Valley, Salmon Inlet as well as Prince Rupert and many others
Additional Opportunities / Possible Future Job Locations:
We are also interested in hiring tower painters for possible future projects with locations ranging throughout all of the provinces and territories of Canada.
Company supplied items - free of charge:
    Sleeping accommodations (provided seven (7) days a week)
    Transportation (provided to and back from job site)
    All necessary PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
    Bring any expired - Climbing/Rescue Training, High Voltage Electrical Safety Training and/or First Aid/CPR Certificate to a current status.
Positions Available: 10 (Ten)
Status: Seasonal (March – November)
Full-time, 8 hours per day, 5 days a week / 40 hours Overtime available
Compensation: Hourly / $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
Notes: Pay is based on level of experience
