Location: Centurion, Pretoria / Tshwane, Job Type: Full-Time. Senior ISP Field Technician – Centurion. A large, dynamic National ISP is looking for a qualified and experienced Senior field technician to maintain it’s network and do client installation and maintenance in the Gauteng area. You will lead a 2 man team and maintain the network in and around Johannesburg.

Specifically  your tasks will be installing and maintaining microwave transmission networks, doing site surveys for wireless radio networks, installing wireless equipment on client sites and configuring wireless equipment and routers.

Prerequisites: Drivers licence, high level of computer literacy, basic electrical knowledge, basic power tool knowledge, knowledge of Cambium, Mikrotik, Ubiquity or similar Wi-Fi products, microwave link installations and climbing at heights certification. Some knowledge of fibre installations will be an added advantage. You must obviously enjoy travelling and be prepared to spend a night or 2 a month away from home. Must be fluent in English and Afrikaans.

Salary: +/- R20 000 pm depending on experience + a car and allowances.
