Lead Fabricator, Ace Machining Ltd, Job details  Location Dartmouth, NS, Salary $ 15 to $25HOUR hourly for 40 hours per week. Terms of employment Permanent, Full time 07:00 to 15:30.

Job requirements: Languages, English, Education College/CEGEP, Experience 3 years to less than 5 years, Specific Skills Select and transport material to work area manually or using crane or hoist; Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions; Operate machines or equipment which weld, solder, bolt, screw or rivet metal parts together; Operate gas or oil fired furnace to heat metal to proper temperatures prior to forging; Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment; Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications; Lay out, set up and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines; Troubleshoot, perform corrective action or minor repairs; Document work completed; Cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products

Metal Forming or Shaping Operations Experience. Straightening; Punching; Forming; Flattening; Drawing; Cutting machine; Bending. Equipment and Machinery Experience. Soldering or welding equipment; Shears; Saws; Riveters (power); Punch presses; Power presses; Overhead crane; Lifting device; Hand tools; Drills; Computer numerical control (CNC) machines; Brakes; Micrometers

Weight Handling. More than 45 kg (100 lbs). Work Setting. Sheet metal shop; Platework manufacturing company; Metal product fabrication industry; Heavy machinery manufacturing. Own Tools/Equipment.
