Location: Paarl, Cape Winelands, Job Type: Full-Time. A firm of Professional Land Surveyors, currently has a permanent full-time vacancy in their Cape Town (CBD) office for a dynamic individual, who will form part of their technical team.

The responsibilities of the job incumbent include: Perform duties related to land surveying for identifying land ownership and property boundaries. Conduct records management activities and perform historical and legal land ownership research. Develop and inspect land surveying project contracts. Support field measurement and layout. Conduct standard calculations to identify areas, elevation and volumes of field survey notes. Conduct basic calculations using field note data. Read, utilize and interpret design drawings and topographic maps. Study, learn and interpret CAD computer applications.

Provide consistent and superior quality documents for survey, design and building projects for clients. Perform as cadastral issue matter expert as team member. Liaise with team and clients regarding projects. General drawing office administration. The ideal job incumbent must adhere to the following person specifications: BSc-Survey/Geomatics Degree (BSc-Survey/Geomatics). Professional Geomatics/Cadastral Surveys experience (1 years’ post qualification). Registered Graduate Professional Land Surveyor/Minimum of 6 years working experience in a design position. Registered as a Geomatics Professional with the South African Geomatics Council.  Computer literacy (good working knowledge of MS Office, CAD Software, AlleyCAD (preferable) and AutoCAD programs).
