Our Government client is seeking an experienced Auditor for a short term contract of approximately 8 weeks. We are seeking a professional who is committed to delivering results and ensuring there is compliance with legislation, procedures and guidance within the Government space.

Key duties: Perform, under supervision, assurance and audit activities, including activities of a high profile, sensitive and complex nature. Conduct compliance and performance audits, including research, fieldwork, analysis and reporting. Provide professional and technical advice to senior managers and Members of the Authority. Develop and implement audit methodologies and procedures and contribute to their ongoing review and improvement.

Engage with internal and external stakeholders on complex and/or sensitive audit issues, demonstrating discretion, tact and diplomacy to provide and obtain information. Develop and contribute to briefings, correspondence and ad hoc research tasks as required.
