Shuttle Bus Driver (Bus Driver)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Part Time leading Full Time, On Call, Shift, Weekend, Day, Night, Evening
Salary: $11.00 to $12.00 Hourly for 30 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Bridgetown, Nova Scotia (2 vacancies )
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Provincial or Territorial Commercial Vehicle licence (Class 4 or E)
Experience: Experience an asset
Type of Experience: School bus driver, Para-transit driver
Travel Experience: Local, Provincial and territorial
Type of Driver's Record: Driver's abstract
Specific Skills: Operate bus to transport passengers, Provide passengers with information on fares, schedules and stops, Collect fares and record transactions, Report delays, mechanical problems and accidents, Load and unload vehicle, Direct passengers during emergency evacuation procedures, Operate para-transit vehicles, Deal with public, Complete logbooks and reports
