Diesel Mechanic, Location: Kraaifontein, Northern Suburbs, Job Type: Full-Time. Indaba Explorations Pty Ltd* an overland Safari operator and destination manager with operations in Southern Africa requires the services of an experienced individual who will be responsible for organizing and executing repair and maintenance on Overland vehicles (trucks) at our offices in Joostenbergvlakte, Kraaifontein. This is a hands-on job in repair and maintenance of vehicles.  After-hours standby may be required. This is a full-time position.

Job-related requirements: Relevant experience in diesel mechanics. Knowledge of aircon systems will be an advantage. Exposure to operating conditions in Southern Africa geographical areas will be an advantage. Code C or EC driver's license. Proficiency in MS Suite programs, especially in Excel.

Key responsibilities: Conducting of preventative maintenance and condition monitoring processes. Executing maintenance and repair tasks. Road-assistance & emergency repair services. Own transport is a prerequisite. Commencement date: 1 July 2019 or earlier.
